Originally released on VHS in 1996, Tincan Folklore is part of Stereo Films Boxset which consists of their first 2 videos.

Tincan Folklore is known as Jason Lee's last video with Stereo. In fact, it wasn't. He was off filming Mall Rats with Kevin Smith and didn't have a real part in the Stereo flick. So, why's his name in the credits? Because he supplied some footage from his early days around 1988. The Stereo crew found this hilarious. Fans who bought the video were not amused. According to the commentary, fans were pissed off!

I wasn't as much a fan of this flick. It was good, but it just didn't pull me in. Mall Rats, on the other hand, I'll watch over and over. Go figure.
