Thrasher has managed to build a great brand. When a video bears the Thrasher logo, you don't screw around - you buy it. They have a reputation for making damn good videos. And they keep that rep solid with Rocket Science.
Not too many people can say they are rocket scientists. So when you hear that familiar phrase, "It doesn't take rocket science to figure that out", maybe it does. In fact just tell that know-it-all person to go choke on a dick cuz you gotta go skate. Anyway... I don't think it took rocket science to make this vid, but it took a lot of something to make Thrasher such a respected brand.
As usual, Thrasher packs a ton of skating into 33 minutes of their Rocket Science DVD. Along with the usual 4,000 skaters featured, this flick has 5 main parts entangled in the entirety of the flick. (We didn't mean that to sound negative - this film rocks).
Jeremy Reeves has a part as does Silas Baxter-Neal. We get a look - a quick one - at Foundation's "The Struggle Continues" Tour and the scene in Sacramento. There's a gnarly segment of slams with some freakish ankle tweaks. Check out Jarrod Saba in AZ - this guy is phenomenal! Then the credits roll and ushers will tell you to leave the theater if you're loitering. Punch them... they like that.
"Skating is not rocket science... It's harder!
