Angelina Armani (born November 18, 1987 in Brooklyn, NY) is an American pornographic actress and adult model. Angelina Armani's interest in porn began in her late teen years. While she was never a fan of adult entertainment, she was attracted to the exhibitionism. At 5'10", Armani is model-esque in stature. She briefly perused that modeling while in New York, engaging in photo shoots and runway jobs.
Armani decided to make the leap into Adult. A brief flirtation in late 2007 with porn soured Armani on the industry. In mid-2008 the blonde made a second attempt, this time Armani fully committed to the job and with a new look, she began attracting a lot of attention and was steadily booked by her then agency (Type9 Models).
After only a month of performing, Armani hired The Star Factory publicity team to raise her exposure. Almost immediately Armani began to attain recognition. Under the guidance of The Star Factory, Armani began making several red carpet appearances and mainstream news blogs began taking an interest. Most prominent was her MMAwesome.com interview.
One of the events The Star Factory escorted Armani to, was the Digital Playground premiere of the Pirates II. It was there that Digital Playground owners Samantha Lewis and Joone witnessed how much Armani dazzled the crowd of photographers that lined the red carpet. Not more than a few days later, Armani received a MySpace message from Joone asking if she was interested in an exclusive contract.
At the time Digital's offer was made, Armani had already been in contract talks with other prominent adult companies. Even though she had never shot for Digital Playground Armani was well aware of the brand's strength. In early October 2008 Armani signed with the company. As a part of the contract, Armani had dropped her previous name in favor of her current moniker 'Angelina'. It was revealed during the contract negotiations that Joone had actually seen Armani before the Pirates II premiere. The two happened to be at the same Starbucks in Sherman Oaks at the same time a month before. Joone noticed the blonde candidly posing for pictures for her boyfriend, which he was later surprised to see on her MySpace after looking her up post Pirates II.
Within days of her contract signing, Angelina Armani made her debut with Digital Playground at the Berlin show. To have product to promote at the fast approaching Adult Entertainment Expo, Armani's first starring movie for Digital Playground was fast tracked. Angelina Armani: The Big Hit was directed by multi-award winning director Robby D., and was released January 13, 2009. Angelina Armani: The Big Hit was promoted during the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. While there Armani acted as Trophy Girl for the AVN Awards.
In the following months Armani made several appearances on behalf of Digital Playground. The relationship with Digital Playground came to an abrupt end in late April 2009. Neither Digital Playground nor Armani gave too much reason for the split, other than Armani saying to Xbiz.com "I thought it was time to branch out. I've been doing a bunch of mainstream work that I'd like to continue, as well as work for other adult companies."
With Digital Playground Angelina filmed approximately eight movies. The titles of the following are known: Angelina Armani: The Big Hit, You & Us, Teachers, Angelina Armani: Overcome and Bad Girls 2.
After leaving D.P., Armani filmed an appearance for the movie Born To Be A Star. Prior to that she filmed for an HBO show called Designated Driver. As a free agent, Angelina has filmed only a handful of adult movies/scenes. The most prominent being a parody called Not Monday Night Football XXX and Angelina Armani: Starlets (Elegant Angel).
Angelina has also begun to blossom as an on screen personality. She hosted a series of videos for XFanz.com covering the XBIZ Summer Forum in Las Vegas, She did interviews from the red carpet of the 2009 F.A.M.E. Awards (where she was also a presenter) and interviewed several adult stars at the Free Speech Coalition's Freedom Fest for AVN.
Recently Armani won her first award. The Nightmoves Adult Entertainment Award for Best New Starlet. Currently Angelina was nominated for the 2010 AVN Awards in the Best New Starlet category.
