Post-Skateboarding Scarfing Material Recipe

Pipeline Potato & Veggies Melee

The perfect fill-your-gut side-dish for any beefy or fish-like entree. the total cooking time is 40 minutes and serves 4.


  • 1 lb. of small red potatoes
  • 3 peppers - red, yellow, green (or whatever kind you like)
  • 1 Vidalia (sweet yellow) onion
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 packet of dry italian salad dressing

Other Stuff You'll Need

  • Large baking pan
  • Measuring cup
  • Oven capable of cooking at 400° without melting or causing a fire (i.e. - don't use a toaster oven).


  1. Get out a measuring cup and a large baking pan.
  2. Wash the peppers.
  3. Wash the red potatoes very well. Potatoes grow in the dirt and often are covered in it. Don't cook up dirt!
  4. Cut each potato into quarters.
  5. Core and slice peppers into 1-inch strips.
  6. Wash the sliced peppers to remove excess seeds and detritus.
  7. Slice onion into very small pieces.
  8. Combine the extra virgin olive oil and packet of dry italian salad dressing. Stir with a spoon until blended.
  9. Jam potatoes, onion and peppers into a mixing bowl and mix ‘em up.
  10. Dump potatoes, peppers and onion into baking pan.
  11. Pour oil and dressing mixture all over everything.
  12. Listen to Black Sabbath.


  • Pre-heat oven to 400°.
  • Place baking pan in the center (vertically) of the oven.
  • Set oven timer (watch, sundial... whatever timepiece you have) for 20 minutes.
  • Stir contents of pan after 20 minutes.
  • Set oven timer for 20 another minutes.
  • Remove pan from oven after total cook time of 40 minutes or when a fork easily sinks into a potato.
  • Serve.
